9527.net now has a new look. I feel boring with the standard WordPress theme. So I changed it last night and I added some new features as well. Here you go the details:
- Installed the K2 theme (Beta Two svn
r343r345): It is an open-source template for WordPress. It is powerful and beautiful. I’m lovin’ it! - Added a header image: I don’t like the default navy blue header of K2 so I use a very nice Mac OS X wallpaper as the header image.
- Installed the Brian’s Latest Comments plug-in: It is a plug-in for WordPress to show latest comments as asides.
- AJAX support from K2: AJAX commenting, AJAX rolling archive, Livesearch, etc.
- Installed Extended Live Archives (0.10beta R16): It is good but it has issues with my previous permalink structure (e.g. ../archives/53). Now permalink structure has been changed (e.g. ../archives/2006/05/01/53/) in order to “by-pass” the problem.
Enjoy!
Note: Now my site is no longer IE friendly. It will work but you will see something abnormal. Please use Firefox or Safari (Mac OS X) for better performance.
