BlackBerry 8707v
BlackBerry 8707v is an UMTS-enabled (W-CDMA air interface) BlackBerry handheld. With the introduction of the new UMTS-enabled BlackBerry, people can use BlackBerry not only in the countries where GSM/GPRS networks are available but also in those where UMTS 2100MHz networks are available (including Japan and South Korea thru roaming).
Technically speaking, BlackBerry 8707v is not the first 3G BlackBerry device in the market. The first 3G BlackBerry wireless handheld from Research In Motion is BlackBerry 7750. It supports CDMA2000™ 1X, which is also a IMT-2000 certified 3G technology.
BlackBerry 8707v shares the same form factor as the other models of the 8700 series. Although they have similar functions and features, there are some differences:
- BlackBerry 8707v has an unique housing design just only for Vodafone and its alliance partners. That’s why it is called “v“.
- No EDGE support.
- It supports UMTS 2100MHz networks. With the built-in UMTS modem, you can attach the device directly to a laptop to deliver broadband-speed wireless connectivity.
- Simultaneous voice and data transfer: You can send emails, access applications or browse the web while on a phone call. (Note: check with service provider for availability)
BlackBerry 8707v will be available in Germany shortly. I am so sure that it will be available in other countries in a very near future. It is just a matter of time.

Wolfenstein™ Enemy Territory™ is a free, stand-alone, downloadable multiplayer game in which players wage war as Axis or Allies in team-based combat.
This is a good online game and I love it very much. Why?
- It allows up to 64 players (i.e. 32 vs. 32) playing on the same server at the same time.
- There are tons of servers with different kinds of maps and mods all over the world.
- You don’t need to download maps/mods before you join any server. The game will download and install them when you join.
- It runs on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X (PowerPC) and can connect to the same server no matter what platform you are using.

今日去了赤柱食 lunch。雖然天氣不太好，整天下著雨，但一點也沒損我兩外出的雅興。我們開車途經東區海底隊道、大潭道、大潭水塘水壩（該段超窄）、紅山半島、然後到達赤柱廣場。到達後，我們在雨中步行了一會，看看究竟有什麼好餐廳。但發現大部份都是西餐廳，只有一間《大排當》是港式餐廳，大家對這些餐廳沒有太大好感。其間見到一間 Double Star Express，想了一會，就決定去這間了。其實之前在其它地方試過 Double Star Cafe，覺得不錯。這間 Double Star Express 看來細小，但位於一間獨立屋內，別具特色。食物方面不算太多選擇，但對這間小型餐廳來說，已經是非常足夠。我選擇了肉醬意粉，我的 darling 選擇了西蘭花三文魚意粉，兩個都是 set lunch。味道方面非常好，沒有令我們失望。
今日的感覺非常好，一來大家可以出外走走、遠離繁忙的工作，二來又可以增進感情，何樂而不為。其實，當兩個人一起的時候，做些什麼事情已不太重要，最重要就是大家珍惜一起的日子。
下次好天，不如去遠些吧！

正當大家以為昨天會有機會改掛八號風球、不用上班之際，颱風「珍珠」又偏偏轉移路徑，沒有正面吹襲香港，令一眾香港人大感『失望』。尤其是今日天氣非常好，陽光譜照，風和日麗。同昨天比較，做成很大對比。
就今次颱風「珍珠」『漂移』事件，大家要讚揚一下香港天文台。因為香港天文台很早之前已估計得到颱風「珍珠」不會正面吹襲香港，反觀其它天文台包括北京、廣州、台灣、日本等等，她們的預報就沒有這麼準確了。而且香港天文台早前亦估計出星期四天氣會轉晴，真厲害！
其實，我們不應該為掛不到八號風球而失望，因為颱風「珍珠」沒有對香港做成任何破壞，我們應該為此而開心的。開心啲啦香港人！

我哥哥最近有意購買一部日本版 TOYOTA ESTIMA 七座位汽車。日本版跟香港版有很多分別，尤其是功能方面，日本版高科技得多。其中一個高科技功能就是自動泊車系統。昨晚哥哥 send 了一個 video 給我看，令我嘆為觀指！
科技一日千里，二十年後汽車可能已不再需要由人來駕駛了。

9527.net now has a new look. I feel boring with the standard WordPress theme. So I changed it last night and I added some new features as well. Here you go the details:
- Installed the K2 theme (Beta Two svn
r343r345): It is an open-source template for WordPress. It is powerful and beautiful. I’m lovin’ it!
- Added a header image: I don’t like the default navy blue header of K2 so I use a very nice Mac OS X wallpaper as the header image.
- Installed the Brian’s Latest Comments plug-in: It is a plug-in for WordPress to show latest comments as asides.
- AJAX support from K2: AJAX commenting, AJAX rolling archive, Livesearch, etc.
- Installed Extended Live Archives (0.10beta R16): It is good but it has issues with my previous permalink structure (e.g. ../archives/53). Now permalink structure has been changed (e.g. ../archives/2006/05/01/53/) in order to “by-pass” the problem.
